USドゥーム／デスゴッドEvokenの1994年リリース1st EP。元々は自主でリリース、その後Adipocereから再発、そして今回96年／97年のデモを追加収録しての再々発。漆黒の闇を思わせるズルズル重低音リフと、かすかな希望を感じさせるメロディーの絶妙なバランス。キーボードを上手く使って作り上げられる、厳かな雰囲気。ただ一本やりに遅い／重いだけでなく、しっかりとした曲展開でダイナミックに聴かせるバツグンのアレンジセンス。Ceremoniumにも同じ曲名の曲がありますが、こちらのInto the Autumn Shadeもまさしくドゥーム／デスの名曲の1つ！
